Wilds Lodge School is a residential and day special school which makes provision for up to
105 boys aged between five and 19 years.
The school is situated on two large rural residential sites with residential and teaching
accommodation in very attractive buildings and grounds near Rutland Water. The second site has facilities for vocational courses, science, physical education and art. A third site in Stamford provides residential accommodation for learners in the sixth form.
The school opened in January 2007 and there are currently 88 pupils on roll, of whom 65

11 pupils are looked after by their local authority.
The school provides a therapeutic approach to meet the educational, social and emotional
