national average. The pupil premium is the government's additional funding for those students who are known to be eligible for free school meals and those children who are looked after by the local authority.
The proportion of students from minority ethnic backgrounds is very small. The proportion of students
who speak English as an additional language is average.
A very small number of students are placed with one external provider, Raise the Youth, for additional
help with their behaviour.
In 2014, the academy met the government's current floor standard, which is the minimum expectation for
students' progress and attainment by the end of Year 11.
