Hitchin Boys’ School is a high achieving comprehensive school with a mixed sixth form, which forms part of the highly successful Hitchin Schools’ consortium. We are expanding rapidly due to our popularity and have growing needs for new staff.
We wish to appoint, for September 2019, an enthusiastic and able teacher of French and Spanish in this highly successful and over-subscribed school. (Earlier start may be available for the right candidate). The ability to teach both subjects (and/or German) up to A-Level would be an advantage. The successful candidate should have the ability to motivate all students and to bring new ideas as the school builds on its excellent status.
Applications from those wishing to contribute to other aspects of school life outside the classroom are particularly welcome. A full induction programme is provided for all new staff.
