About the Role

We are a small, friendly village school, just outside Lewes, with a dedicated and enthusiastic staff and happy, motivated children. We are a strong and mutually supportive team and we are very happy to welcome new members to our team. The children, their well-being, happiness and learning are an absolute priority for us and we are committed to providing a caring and creative learning environment where all our children feel cherished, valued and included. 

We are looking to appoint a caring and capable person who enjoys supporting children, both in their learning and overall well-being, in small groups, whole class or individual basis in the school environment.  You will need to be experienced in working with children in a learning environment and be sensitive to the abilities and needs of all children, especially the difficulties experienced by children with additional educational needs. The candidate should be willing to undertake a supervisory role at our Early Birds club and at lunchtimes.  Normal working hours are 8.00am until 3.00pm.

Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.
